First thing I would like to be clear with is:
 won this book in a goodreads giveaway, and thank god I did, because it was amazing!!!

The most important question in this book is: 
What is the price of winning at all costs?

Well, in this book we have a university president with delusions of grandeur, a property developer with mob ties, and a crooked politician fast-tracking projects for cash.
You know the usual in South Florida, you see any other day.

The main point of the story is this: when Miami Jones is hired by an old college friend to investigate the drug overdose of a star student-athlete, he is thrust into the dark intersection of academia, politics, and the Miami drug world.

Miami Jones does <b>not</b> know what he put himself into….
 
Because by the time he accepts this investigation, he finds himself fighting to not just solve the crime, but to save those he loves most.

That’s right!!! This thing just got personal!!!!
