Title: Wicked Games (Games #1)

Author: Jessica Clare

Format: E-book

Published: 2013 by Jill Myles

In this book we have Abby Lewis who has ever pictured herself on the survival game show, Endurance Island. She’s just not the ‘survival’ type. But when her boss offers her a spot on the show and the opportunity of a lifetime, she packs her bags and heads to the tropics to be a contestant. Once in the game, though, it’s clear that Abby’s in over her head.

No one’s more competitive than sexy, delicious – and arrogant – Dean Woodall. Sure, he’s clever, strong, good at challenges, and has a body that makes her mouth water. He also hates Abby just as much as she hates him. That’s fine with her; she’ll just ignore the jerk.

But the rules of Endurance Island are working against them. Abby and Dean are teamed up – alone – on the beach. It’s either work together, or go home. Stuck with no one’s company but their own, they learn they might just make a good team after all.

And Abby learns that with just a little bit of kindling, the flames of hate can quickly turn to flames of passion…

This book features enemies, lovers, enemies who become lovers, and lots and lots of tropical heat…

My favorite E-book of the year and have read like 4 times already, THIS BOOK WAS FANTASTIC!!!

How did I not find this book before? And I actually pulled an all nighter for this book and I’m so glad I did!!!
This book was fantastic because with this book you have an interesting plot (which reminds you alittle of the Hunger Games, but trust me it’s NOT a repeat) this book has romance (and booooyyyy was it sexy and steamy!!!! You just sworn and sigh, this book has some characters wow!!! Now you know that when your in a competition for 2 million dollars, to always be observive. And I mean Always!
Yes there is a downer in this book like every other story, but it has a satisfying ending 🙂

I know that this book probably has low ratings because the games kind of remind you of the hunger games but trust me the challenges are different, and another person wins instead of the MC.
Also, the romance development was alittle rushed, because falling in love in 3 weeks? I mean madly? That’s not even possible in this world today in my opinion 😛 (but it’s 150 Pgs, give the author so I’m not really :p about it so I’m giving her some credit)
Aaaaaaand this book needed a longer epilogue. I mean yes it was expected, but really? Only a page for epilogue! 😛

The point is, this book was fantastic, i am insanely in love with that cover, and I am falling asleep while writing this review so good night! 😀

Title: Remembrance

Author: Michelle Madow

Format: E-book

Published: July 27th 2011 by Dreamscape Publishing

In this story we have Lizzie Davenport who has been reincarnated from 1815, England but she doesn’t realize it until she meets her soul mate from the past and he triggers her memories to gradually return.

When Drew Carmichael transfers into Lizzie’s high school, she feels a connection to him, like she knows him. But he wants nothing to do with her. Reaching Drew is more difficult because she has a boyfriend, Jeremy, who has become full of himself after being elected co-captain of the varsity soccer team, and her flirtatious best friend Chelsea starts dating Drew soon after his arrival. So why can’t she get him out of her mind? I wonder why…

Lizzie knows she should let go of her fascination with Drew, but fighting fate isn’t easy, and she’s determined to unravel the mysteries of the past, and does so in the last 300 pages.

I can totally see how people wouldn’t like this book… And let me give you a couple of reasons,

1. Very much like Pride and Prejudice, but this story couldn’t help itself because that was what this story was mostly about…

2. This is just cheesy, I mean really? This story reminded so much of those cheesy movies where there’s this forbidden love in the modern world because then there would be so much drama! OMG GET OVER IT 😉 ITS ANNOYING!

3. The main character, you just think she’s stupid through I can totally see how people wouldn’t like this book… And let me give you a couple of reasons,

3. The main character, you just think she’s stupid throughout the book, and I’m not even going to bother to sugar coat it either. I mean if you like the guy then you go for it before your bet friend so that you don’t lose BOTH people! I mean seriously, common sense people!!!

4. The way Drew acted was just messed up, not one of my favorite book boyfriends I’m afraid 😛

5. I didn’t get a lot of information about the past, and about Lizzie’s memory guard, and if these characters were suppose to represent the characters from Pride and Prejudice?

I just don’t know, that cover sure filled me, and the author is soooooo nice! I would hate to rate a book so low, but it had to be done 😦 sorry…

I’ll still read the second one to see how it is though 🙂

Title: The Boys of Summer (Summer #1)

Author: C.J Duggan

Format: E-book

Published: December 17th 2012

“It seemed only natural to nickname them the ‘Onslow Boys’. Every time they swaggered in the front door of the Onslow Hotel after a hard week’s work, their laughter was loud and genuine as they settled onto their bar stools. I peeked through the restaurant partition, a flimsy divider between my world and theirs. I couldn’t help but smile whenever I saw them, saw him… Toby Morrison.”

Tess, is antisocial, quiet, and seventeen years old. She wants nothing more than to forget the past haunts of high school and have fun with her best friends before the dreaded Year Twelve (senior year) begins.

To Tess, summer is when everything happens: riding bikes down to the lake, watching the fireworks at the Onslow Show and water bomb fights at the sweltering Sunday markets.

But then her friends talk her into working a summer job…

After first-shift disasters, rude, wealthy tourists and a taunting ex-boyfriend, Tess is convinced nothing good can come of working her summer away. However, Tess finds unlikely allies in a group of locals dubbed ‘The Onslow Boys’, who are old enough to drive cars, drink beer and not worry about curfews. Tess’s summer of working expands her world with a series of first times with new friends, forbidden love and heartbreaking chaos. Her usual summer plans just changed, and will be unforgettable.

This story was good… 🙂
Considering that there was a lot of drama, and relationship issues, and the fact that our MC only cared about boys and work, boys and work, and a lot of characters have changed and developed, this story wasn’t bad.
If this book was anymore dramatic and annoying then I would’ve said otherwise. Considering that this was set in summer, where everything was suppose to change and you were suppose to have fun and have a great time, made this story include a lot of drama and romance.
I don’t usually read books like this, but it was free, so I made the acception, plus, I always love to try something new. And I had nothing to lose but precious time 🙂

Title: Leopard Moon (Moon #1)

Author: Jeanette Battista

Format: E-book

Published: March 4th 2012 by Jeanette Battista (self published nice!)

How do you disappear when you come from a family of predators?”

In this book we have Kess, who happens to be a were leopard (original likey!) is forced to flee her home and family in Miami once her brother’s obsession with her turns violent. She runs from city to city, trying to stay one step ahead of the investigators her family has dispatched to bring her home. Kess ends up in the mountains of North Carolina and attracts the attention of Cormac, a young man with a secret of his own. As she attempts to live as normal a life as her were-nature allows, her brother Sek continues to hunt for her. He believes she is the key to revitalizing their weakened clan and is driven to extreme measures to ensure their continued existence. As Kess’ relationship with Cormac deepens, Sek closes in, threatening Cormac’s life and Kess’ freedom.

When the moon rises, the hunt is on….

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW! This book was fantastic!!! Another all nighter read!!! If this is the case my eye balls are going to come out of my eye sockets soon…

Everything about this book was fantastic!! The only problem i had with this book, was the ending (it’s a minor but satisfying cliffhanger), and the fact that this is the only book Kess and Cormac will ever have 😦 or that’s what I think…

Anyway, this book includes a badass heroine, shifters, romance (but it develops, not instant love), no love triangle (well sort of if you count your brother…), lots of action, hilarious moments, and there’s also sweet and swoon moments 🙂

If you like paranormal romance with a lot of action and drama, this book is for you 😉

Review: Four (Novella of the famous series Divergent)

4 STARS FOR FOUR!!!! See what I did there???? 😀

Title: Four (Novella to the famous series Divergent)

Author: Veronica Roth

Format: Hardcover

EEEEEEE!!!!!
OMG MY FANTASTIC MOTHER SHOWED UP WITH THIS BOOK IN HER HAND AND TOLD ME SHE BOUGHT IT FOR ME AND NOW I GET TO FAN GIRL ABOUT IT WITH EVERYONE ELSE EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!

I’m hyperventilating right now… -sighs dramatically-

This is how I was before I started to rea this book 🙂

After reading this book, all I know is that this book was perfection. This book tied the whole series together, and I’m so glad now that this book was invented, because we finally got to see one of the most important characters in the series’ POV before he became an initiation instructor.

At first I thought I wasn’t going to like it because of what happened with Allegiant, but I tried to get that out of my mind, because that wasn’t even mentioned in this book, so as soon as I forgot about it, this book was worth reading.

My favorite novella from this one would have to be The Traitor, because that’s when we see Four and Tris meet, and I finaly got to experience reading that moment in Fours POV 🙂

Reading about Fours transfer, his initiation year, and him working as an instructor and computer wiz was really interesting 🙂

I also liked the day that we got to see how much he has developed from being a “Stiff” like Tris, to being this kick-ass Dauntless instructor thy should’ve been a leader, but he didn’t want to become like his father, a monster.

I really enjoyed this book, but I just don’t like that fact that this was written after that disappointing ending with Allegiant. Makes me wonder if this was planned so we can forgive her and forget about it 😦

Plus, I think the MC of this series is really Four and not Tris. Because we always tend to focus on Four instead of Tris. Which is why people acted the way they did with the ending of Allegiant.

(Hey it could’ve been worse… Our favorite character in this series could’ve been the one, if you’ve read allegiant you know what I’m talking about 😉

I’ve taken long with this book because of too many distractions and trying to piece this book with the series btw 😉

Review: Backstage Pass: Part 1/3

Title: Backstage Pass: Part 1/3

Author: Elizabeth Nelson

Format: E-book

Published: August 6th 2013 by Bristlecone Books

This book is set into 2 POV’s. We have Sasha, with a best friend named Kerri who’s mission is to set up her best friend up on a date with a guy, because Sasha is known to not even hang out with guys, and always putting others over herself first, and always working, and busy and never gets time for herself. And of course Sasha is never interested, especially when she finds out the guy in question is a lead singer in a band. She has one rule for her dating life and that is no musicians (because of her father). She knows relationships with them can only end badly, that’s all she has ever known, but Kerri sticks to her mission till the very end no matter what the obstacles are.

The other POV is Jesse who of course is persistent in getting Sasha’s attention, always being charming, genuine and there for her to lean on (emotionally and physically) after Sasha ends up breaking her foot in front of him. Sasha isn’t sure she can continue to deflect his advances, and isn’t sure she wants to, so throughout this book they start to develop feelings for each other. We have Jesse who is the “go for it” guy, and Sasha who is battling her past and her future and heart; should she go for the guy and risk it, or take the safe way out and don’t out yourself into that situation. This book leads to it.

This was my second e-book ever read, and it turned out that it was a great story, with a great plot, but of course every good book has to have its flaws, and there is a cliffhanger. Joy.
In this book I finally found out why Sasha hates musicians so much and then POOF! Done -_- great. And I can’t get the next one until a couple of weeks 😛 I’m depressed now and very very mad about what that author did. So mad. >:[

Title: Take Me Part 1/4 (Yup, 4 parts and I can’t get any until the price changes 😦 )

Author: Kelly Harper

Format: Ebook

Published: July 24, 2014

So, this was the very first book that made me want to read e-books, because before this book, I never ever touched an e-book not even gave a glance or even had the thought to read e-books. I always stuck to hardbacks/paperbacks, books I can actually feel and admire from my bookshelf. But, this story looked interesting, was free, and I decided to expand my horizons when reading, and read it.

After reading…

I lost the ability to speak words after reading this book. But I’ll try writing a review now, or else I won’t be able to in the future 😉

There are 2 sides to this book. Either you like it and you think it’s really adorable, or it makes you frustrated because of the amount of sex, and lust there is in this book.

What I really don’t get in this book is, why would you have sex with the first guy you meet at the bar? He could’ve been a serial killer for crying out loud!!! But nooooooo! Coincidentally he ended up being the life saver of a company that the female protagonist works for.

But before the bussiness started, this couple just met at the bar, they talked, and then when he took her home, something snapped between them and they just did it, 3 TIMES ON THE SALE NIGHT!!! And this author does a very good job being very specific and descriptive about it, but wow O.O…

Another thing I didn’t like was the fact that this book was really short, and it’s broken down into different parts, and it ended in such a huge cliffhanger!!! This book is so lucky it’s on my kindle, or else I wouldn’t of hesitated to throw it out my window 😛

But oh well, ill have to wait until the next book is free and I can read it 😦 great, let me just lay here and wait patiently -sigh-…

MIA for a loooooong while… Sorry :)

Hello everybody!!! Sorry I have been MIA, for a very long time, but I have just been soooooo busy!!! But not to worry!!!! I’m back with so many things to post, update, and tell you about!!! But first, I’m going to be customizing the blog for the holidays and new year, and I have so many books to review and publish, so I may not be chatty much over the past week. But expect to come back with a new and updated blog 🙂

See you soon!!!! And be patient 😉

Synopsis: (Science Fiction, love story, apocalyptic, alpha males, strong females, Cyborgs, futuristic, F/M & M/M, sexy romance)

Books One and Two of the “Cyborg” series, in one place.

Generation Automation is upon us. The craving to own the latest and greatest technology in the name of convenience has created a world where man and machine live alongside one another in an unsteady peace. Humans still rule for now. However, an underground movement has begun that will change everything.

For every arising enemy against humanity, a countermeasure is born–

Alexia is one of the few humans left who’d rather not have an android hanging over her shoulder all day. Unfortunately, when her job lands her on a list of people targeted by terrorists, she’s assigned a Machine Industry Leading Edge Sentinel, or “Miles,” for protection. Per Miles programming, he shouldn’t be able to override Alexia’s commands. However, he defies her at every turn. The lines between reality and fantasy blur as Alexia’s attraction for the mysterious android grows. Unfortunately, when she goes on a mission to seek the truth, what she learns might get her killed.

A world on edge…

The “Cyborg” team has kept one eye glued to the unrest inside the A.I. community for some time. Each member understands the ramifications of a revolt. If war is declared, they could find themselves on the opposite side of the law. One tiny detail changes Miles’ stance. Solving the case he’s worked since meeting Alexia could be the deciding factor. Left with no other choice, Miles orders his second in command to move to plan ‘B’—Dr. Kiston Beck.

A woman caught in the middle…

Kiston has stood with the Androids since her teenage years. Her inside knowledge of Cryo-Zone—an all-droid community—could mean the difference between a war lost or won. Convincing her to go against all she believes to be right is another matter.

Kiston has no idea what the Cybernetics Agency thinks she possesses. There hasn’t been a human alive who cared to hear her opinion in years. The one detail she’s absolutely sure about is that they sent the wrong team member if they hoped to seduce the information from her.

Cyborg Two is every woman’s dream. His wide shoulders, alpha ways and smoldering glances leave her breathless. Unfortunately, his biggest flaw is one too many for Kiston. He believes she’s crazy.

But is it too late?

After a botched kidnapping, a concussion and near-death experience, can Miles and his team still convince Kiston to join them, or will their brand of friendship end up destroying the world?
