“Positive thoughts lead to Greatness”
So, yesterday was quite a busy day. So busy, it took me the next day to write a post for yesterday. I was also only able to read one chapter of Children of Blood and Bone, and I am quite sad about it. I am hoping I’m able to get back into it shortly, and finish it by Sunday, we shall see…
Anyways, throughout my hectic schedule, I learned a very important lesson from my mom, she had actually posted something about it on another website we had both made a couple of years ago, and I would like to bring it back. These words have stuck by me for quite some time, and I never got the time to appreciate these words. Here’s what she said:
Think positive, achieve greatness.
It should never be about the recognition received but rather the satisfaction of knowing you did something great.
Sometimes we tend to overthink things. When that happens, we don’t really challenge ourselves for the fear of failure.
Not knowing everything is okay. Not accepting it is the problem.
It’s okay to ask for help, humbling ourselves makes us that much greater.
Treat others like you want to be treated.
Find others talents and develop them.
Empower and create leaders.
Never be afraid. Keep moving forward, one step at a time; steady.
Remember, only you can limit your greatness.
Deep huh? Sometimes I wonder if my mom was meant to be a philosopher. It may be long, but every line of that paragraph struck a cord in me, that I knew I was never going to forget these words, hence why I wanted to share them with you all.
The world would be a better place if we all took the time to think and share positivity, accepting that we’re all not going to know everything in life, developing ourselves for the better, and just keep moving forward.
I’m hoping you all learned something with these words, because they’re just so important.
