Another day of reading. Gotta love having the time to read again.

Let me tell you. This is going to be off topic, but I just have to come out and say it. The majority of people have been saying that quarantine is torture and they wish things would go back to normal, but to me I kind of like being in quarantine. I’m very introverted and can survive being inside. I find things to do. I get unlimited hours to read, game, and just do my own thing. I mean yeah, things are never going to be the same again. The new norm when the whole “Corona” phase clears out is going to be walking around in masks, carrying bottles of handsanitizers, and being at least six feet away from each other (except of course if you’re with that person/those people). But it’s not so bad. Obviously it’s bad if you’re inside 24/7, that’s not healthy for anyone, but going to school/working from home, getting to organize your house (finally, I mean come on who has had the time to do that), working out, learning how to cook, getting to read with a nice cup of coffee/chosen beverage, and then gaming? That’s the life. Yeah, I miss being outside all the time before. With going to the beach, the pool, a restaurant inside not having to eat outside or even just picking up the food, sigh.

All righty, well update book time!!!

Anyways, I made it to Chapter 22 of Children of Blood and Bone, and I have to say so much has happened. I feel like I’ve read 15 chapters instead of 7… The gang went on a journey guided by Mama Agba (since she’s a seer), they made it to the enchanted temple, Zelie’s powers have been awakened (we don’t know what she has yet, but reaper blood is in her vains and she has had some experience with fire) and found out that they needed three artifacts (a sunstone, bone sword and enchanted scroll). Right now they got the scroll from Amari, the bone sword from the Elder of the temple, and are now missing the sun stone. Of course, there’s always a bad side. Inan is on their tail, kind of like Zuko on Aang’s tail before he did a 180 in season 3… but that’s not the point. Inan wants Zelie’s head on a platter and his sister to return home, having everything go back to normal. But obviously that’s not going to happen.

I would’ve read more, but today was kind of a busy day and I’m hoping tomorrow will change. That’s all for now!! Feel free to like, comment and follow my blog!

P.S: I will be updating the remaining of my menus tomorrow. I did (;Good Books;) today and daaaang that took me a while, but I’m so proud of it. Feel free to check it out!! Stay safe peoples, and have fun reading!!
